Can you help people moving to a new area?
We are building up a network of people who might be able to help someone who is moving to a new area.
We already have 200 County Contacts helping people moving to a new area but we need hundreds more to ensure we cover the map and make sure we really are able to support people in their move.
Lots of you will have moved to new areas and will appreciate what it feels like, yes it’s exciting, yes there most certainly is Life After London and yes often its what you’ve dreamed of and worked towards….but it can be lonely, hard work and daunting moving to a new area and having a place to ask questions could be a real life line for people.
Could you be a County Contact helping people moving to a new area?
You don’t need to have lived in London to register on the site.
You don’t need to know your County in detail but simply answer any questions you can. Alternatively, if you don’t know the answer you could pass on the question to someone who you think might be able to help. Registering as a contact will not place heavy demands on your time but will expand the network and enable as many questions to be answered as possible for people moving to a new area.
As a County Contact you’ll get regular newsletters but also an email to your inbox whenever there is a question posted in your County – all we ask is that you have a look at the question and answer if you can or contact a friend who might be able to help.
