Went for a recce to Hove last weekend and had a wander around the area to get a feel for it. The residential areas seemed lovely, but I was a bit confused by the lack of shops. I found the Church Road bit – but where are the clothes shops and independent shops? Or do you have to go to Brighton for these? Just feel I must be missing something…?!

Best shopping is in Brighton. Bond Street, Gardner Street, North Road have all the best independent boutiques, etc. Church Road is better for cafes, delis, (estate & letting agents), etc.

Thanks guys – I guess it’s no hardship to ‘trek’ to Brighton for shops!
